Well yes that is a good idea but the i think the work has been a bit overestimated(if i am not wrong)-

I think to make 4 portal pages for different branches isn't a difficult thing.Since a number of blocks would be similar we don't have to be build it from scratch.

Fortunately this forum allows the Duplication of the Portal page.
In the Admin Panel there is an option to duplicate the Portal,we that we can make three copies of the Portal page for 3 different games-Ogame,Tribal Wars and Ikariam.

The original Portal page would be used for FL-Void.

Once we do that we need to customise it by adding/deleting a few blocks.

Therefore the page that has to be made from scratch is the "Home" Page which connects all the "Game Pages".

Tell me if i am wrong on this one,char.

Also Sangheili's idea of making a new forum is a good one.It can be made in around 5 mins,we can use that as our "Test Website".

btw, i have this forum theme saved now in case we need it again cos we lose it

also, while i was pressing colourful buttons on the admin panel, i changed the tutorial section name to tutorials, not turtorials,as it used to be, lol

right, portal on my site now matches this one's, and some of the forums are set up, as well as all the groups and some of the ranks

i'll do more tomorrow, and also, this forum can be used to test the newsletter, just so ya's know

Ok ive finished the actual forum addins and im making the forums look FAR better now with the basic bits of coding that i know and can figure out.

Are you Busy Geromix or could u do me a favor with making 4 more bars similar to the other 4 in size on the main forum page related to the topics for me?

While that does make it alot easier geromix, it is still more work than i think you realize. I mean It would be easy to just make it a plain white page with 4 links, 1 for each game but we would have to actually create a different portal for each that actually looks good and we would have to make this one main portal look good as well. That takes alot of time a coding, time which i do not currently have.

also, all of the testing and whatnot would have to be done on THIS site as it does me no good to know that it works on another site when this is the one we need it on

the other site is an EXACT replica of this one, except the posts and members

and because of that i would have to change all of the code to the new URL to test it and then back to the old one to actually impliment it

make it all as aof-temporary.forumotion.com, and just how many times will the site name be in the code??? if its over a hundred, send the code to me and i'll change it, i have time, also, u shud register on my forum so i can give u admin priviliges for when you do have time for this(dont pressure urself, its xmas, tis the season of forums and code-will. oops, im really bad at gettin pressure off of people, XD)

I had logged on and someone had givin me admin rights and then I had gone to the bathroom and came back and the forum said it didnt exist

i just figured it out

someone reverted the website name to the original, www.sephiroth-associatio.forumotion.com

reverting back to AoF-temporary.forumotion.com now
