| Hello! I am a new member of this alliance and quite new with OGame. I fully don't understand what's the meaning of alliances in OGame so would someone explain that? Should I upgrade everything and then start building an army? Thanks a lot for answers! | |

| Hey there, and welcome to AoF in OGame!
Alliances are for friends, send them a request and they may accept it. As for upgrading, concentrate on your resources at the start, and work your way up to fleets and research later. Get your Metal Mine, Crystal Mine and Solar Pant upgraded and used quickly, to gather resources. Make sure you get a Deuterium Synthesiser up fairly quickly too, as it is crucial to your empire's success (yes, I got that off the game...) | |
