ACC-AoF Command Council

Hello there

Due to the lack in clarity of top leadership because of a large number of leaders the creation of the AoF Command Council(ACC) was inevitable.
Originally the AoF Leaders Council(ALC) was intended to be the Council of Leaders which can decide and act on matters collectively.
However,as AoF grew so did AoF Leaders Council and now it has many members in it and this has made the Council ineffective for taking decisions on matters quickly.

Therefore,a new top layer of leaders was needed that will be the final say on matters regarding AoF and the AoF Command Council is hereby formed.

The hierarchy is this-

AoF Command Council(ACC)
AoF Leaders Council(ALC)
AoF Members

>It is an extremely exclusive small group of the most experienced leaders of AoF.Only the most active top leaders can be a part of this and that means that for the next one year or so I won’t be a part of this myself as I would be inactive.

>The group would always be small and it can never have more than 10 members.

>It can take decisions on anything and its word will be final,however members are free to criticize and change its decisions.
>The normal running of AoF matters rests entirely on AoF Leaders Council,the leaders of respective branches would maintain and lead their branches accordingly without any interference from ACC.
Only when something important comes up does ACC needs to take any decisions.

>The ACC will take decisions on granting official branch status to unofficial branches of AoF.It will take decisions on whether branches should be closed or revived.

>When members refer to the ACC then ACC member(s) must take a decision within 2 days maximum.Only in exceptional circumstances can things be delayed.This is to ensure quick and efficient decision making process.

>ACC members will take decisions on areas in which they specialize-
Albert,Comfort,Geromix,Cugix-Freelancer branches.

Kevlar,Sangheili,Cugix-Ikariam

Geromix-Forum matters,Official status grant
Cugix- New branch counselor,helping set up new branches
Group head will be Kevlar.

>Decision making is through only guidelines and criteria.
For example,granting an official status to a branch would have to follow the criteria I laid down earlier.Any ACC member responsible for granting official status just has to give the go ahead according to that criteria.

All ACC members are not required to give a decision on particular matters since we usually think alike.The first ACC member's response to a referral or query would be enough in most cases.
If there is conflict then there will be a quick vote within 24 hours with voting open for 24 hours only.And then decision taken accordingly.

>ACC members are like any other AoF Member,they can be judged by the general AoF Community and dealt with accordingly.

>Responsibilities can be exchanged with each other.Inactivity of one means immediate departure of that member from ACC even if the inactivity is for 1 week.They can be reinstated later.

>All the above are already leaders in ALC(AoF Leaders Council) and as said above they will usually take decisions as an AoF Leader and only when the need arises does one need to take decisions as an ACC member.


ACC is just for MOST important matters and nothing else.

Also it wont have a separate forum like ALC does,it will function out of the current ALC forum so that all leaders can see for themselves the deliberations of ACC on important matters.This is for transparency.

Some matters that concern the entire association should be taken through CONSENSUS.

Doubts on this should be raised now.I will get back in a couple of days.

This sounds like a sound idea.

this sounds like it will unfold neatly.

Ill work in what areas i have been assigned until told otherwise. A small reminder is that members with questions and requests should either get in touch with us or to ur branch leaders who will put u through to us. The appropraite members to the names above.

All enquires that can be sent directly to the AoF Leadership council should be done so.

If i do have some suggestions as i always do maybe a member should be set as secretary to the AoF Leaders Council (ALC) so that members within AoF can get in contact and request matters to be taken up in the council. leaving a more better feel of the voice of the members being listened to rather than just the leaders guidance.

@Ghosty-Well u could have some kind of representative being the face of the council,but that guy would have to very active.

well how active do u have to be to check a pm box once a day?

Sounds good to me, will hopefully get important things taken care of quick and efficently.

The point is that people can ask what they want,put in their queries in any format and u guys answer it accordingly according to ur branches when needed.

Your not going to be asked everyday,day-to-day matters rest with ALC.

Moreover all u are ALC members,ACC is derived from ALC,so it doesn't make much sense.

Kevlar can fill in any other capacity like this as he is the Group Head.

the suggestion was aimed at the ALC rather than the ACC and yeah good point. lets not do it.
